Mission Tofino ...

Well, a really really long time has passed since I last posted anything on here. Since facebook came along I have been neglecting my poor blogging diary! Yes, pathetic I know!! Its been a really hectic couple of months to say the least. For those of you who don't know, Chris and I sold our house in Coquitlam and I we are now living here ...

What's that ... get you a beer while you're driving, honey!

Hahahaha, just kidding! Chris decided that he would take a bit of a break from the film industry and become Bob the Builder for the summer. So, here' s the deal ... after sitting on the lot we've owned in Tofino for the past 5 year, alas we have decided to build a home (rather, this is all Chris' idea ... I just had to sign on the dotted line)!! We ended up purchasing a pre-fab home from a north van based company which is making the building process trot right along. Despite some minor and not so minor bumps along the way, the house is quickly taking form! I'm very proud of guys!!

Here "she" is ... our picturesque little abode!!

As for the the motor home beauty pictured above, we ended up purchasing a motor home for Chris to call "home" for the preliminary building stages! I gotta say, it was a score of a deal though and its mighty comfortable if I must say so myself!! Isn't the "ROYAL CLASSIC" a beauty!!!! This is one afforable way of getting lakefront view!!

And nooooooooooooo, we will not be moving to Tofino, but its a great investment for us. Albeit Tofino being the "most incredible place on earth", the population of the small town is only around 1,600; however, the annual visitors rank up around 1 million!! That's a LOT too small for my liking. Anyways, the home we're building is gorgeous and I'm stoked to say that we're keeping a room in the back of the house for us (or close friends and family of course)! Should make going to Tofino a lot more affordable having a place to stay.

Since I have a bazillion photos the building process, stay tuned for a flickr on my blog which will have a link to the various buildling stages!! I'll need the technical support of Sam the expert blogger to get that up and running!
