Eric & Saskia's Wedding (July 29)

This weekend I headed over to Gabriola to attended the most amazing wedding! After seven and a half long years ... Saskia and Eric have finally tied the knot. Everything bout the day was fabulous: beautiful wedding, fabulous company (the good ol' SFU crowd), decent weather and incredible location! Despite the fact that we were essential roughing it in the wilderness and I ended up with horrible allergies all weekend, a great time was had by all. Eric and Sask flew out from the venue to the Cook Islands on Sunday following the festivities .... just the way it should be done! Kudos to you kids ... a gorgeous day for two incredible people!

I've attached a few "formal" and "not-so-formal" pics from the weekend:

Hahn Beer Ad

Chris ... how appropriate is this? I'm sure if we had a tub this size, you'd be doing cannon balls off the counter with a "hahn" beer in hand!

Whistler Volleyball tourney

Time to finally post a few pics from the Whistler volleyball tourney! We usually put in a team every year, but last year was just too hectic with wedding prep and Chris' travels so we didn't make it up there. This year we played with Lisa Ezaki and Alex Izzo. A good time was had by all ... even though our heads seemed to be more focused on the beer gardens rather than the actual tourney. Given that it was our first time playing together, we did well and had a great time .... um .... losing! All was forgotten that night, when the debauchery started, though!!!

Camping (06/23/2006)

Time for a little "couples" camping action! Jon & Eileen, Danny & Natalie and Chris & I went up to a campsite called Bear Creek just past Harrision (well more like 45 minutes down a nasty logging road) to find this small piece of heaven. Forget the glorified campsites, we scored some prime real-estate right on Harrison Lake. Thankfully the fire ban wasn't on, so the boys could show off their pyro tendencies!

The view from up above.

The view from the campsite.

Oh laa laa!

Oh laa laa ... part deux!

Oh yeah ... chillin beach side.
